Gov. Whitmer couldn’t be more wrong. While Whitmer auditions for VP and claims “politics is everything,” here’s what’s happening in Michigan: 

• Over 1.1 million Michiganders have lost their job.
• The state’s unemployment application system has been a disaster, forcing unemployed Michiganders to wait weeks to file for unemployment benefits. 
• The COVID-19 reporting system has been called “not reliable” by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan (D).
• A taxpayer-funded no-bid contract for COVID-19 data was awarded to a national Democrat campaign data vendor and a self-described political organizer.
