Today, Former Vice President Joe Biden made a campaign stop in Michigan to give a speech on health care and was joined by Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Senator Gary Peters. Peters, who touted his vote for Obamacare, failed to mention that he declined coverage for his own family and opted to use a state of Michigan health care plan offered to Lansing legislators who took office before 1995.
The theme of Biden’s speech was protecting and building upon Obamacare – a placeholder for liberals’ ambitious plans for a government takeover of your health care.
During the Senate Judiciary Hearing on Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court, Senator Chuck Grassley explained that the changes liberals seek to Obamacare move America closer to a single-payer system where the government provides or subsidizes healthcare for all Americans.

Earlier this month, Biden sent Senator Bernie Sanders to campaign for him in Michigan and tout his own bid to become chairman of a Senate health committee. Sanders is the author of ‘Medicare-for-All’ which would result in a complete government takeover that eliminates private and employer-provided health insurance.
