Michigan Rising Action Announces New Communications Director
Lansing, Mich., August 9, 2021 – Today, Michigan Rising Action announced the hiring of Dylan Wernholm as the organization’s new communications director.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Dylan to the Michigan Rising Action team,” said Eric Ventimiglia, executive director for Michigan Rising Action. Ventimiglia continued, “Dylan’s experience in campaigns and public policy are an asset for our organization and he will be a strong voice for advancing conservative principles in our state.”
Wernholm brings years of policy and political experience to the role, having served on numerous campaigns in addition to his tenure as a staffer in the Michigan House of Representatives. Wernholm interned for John James’ first Senate run and later served as Field Director for Congressman Mike Bishop’s campaign in 2018. Since November of 2018, Wernholm worked for State Representative Beth Griffin in several capacities, including Legislative Director and campaign manager for the 2020 election.
