Another Campaign Finance Report, More Illegal Contributions to Gretchen Whitmer

Lansing, Mich., October 25, 2021 – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has accrued nearly $4 million in excessive, illegal contributions, including over $600,000 in the most recent reporting period. Though Whitmer faces no legitimate recall effort, she has accepted millions in over-the-limit contributions from liberal elitist donors, including George Soros, J.B. Pritzker, and the Stryker family.

“Gretchen Whitmer does not believe campaign finance laws apply to her,” said Eric Ventimiglia, Executive Director for Michigan Rising Action. Ventimiglia continued, “Despite pledging transparency and openness, we have yet another instance of Gretchen Whitmers’ ‘rules for thee, not for me.”
