Michigan Democrats Say Parents Don’t Have a Say In Their Kid’s Learning, Backtrack After Backlash
Lansing, Mich., January 18, 2022 – Michigan Democrats revealed in a Facebook post their belief that parents should have no control of what their children are taught in school. Unless, of course, they have the financial means to send their kids to private school. After immense backlash from Michigan parents, the Michigan Democratic Party deleted the post. WATCH:

Out of the 79 elected and sitting Michigan Democrats at the state and federal levels, none of them have come out denouncing the statement as of Tuesday morning. As Democrats refuse to comment, Michigan parents consider their silence on the issue as tacit support.
“Michigan Democrats believe they know better than parents when it comes to their children’s education,” said Eric Ventimiglia, Executive Director for Michigan Rising Action. Ventimiglia continued, “The silence of Michigan liberals on this is deafening. Parents will not soon forget that Democrats are the party actively trying to hijack their kid’s education.”
