Lansing, Mich., May 5, 2021 – Today, Michigan Rising Action announced the hiring of Mary Drabik as the organization’s new Communications Director.
“I’m excited to welcome Mary to the Michigan Rising Action team,” said Eric Ventimiglia, executive director for Michigan Rising Action. Ventimiglia continued, “Mary’s experience in both the public and private sector are vital for our organization and she will be a strong voice for advancing conservative principles in our state.”
Mary is a two-time graduate of Oakland University, with a Bachelors in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. She is a life-long Michigander and brings experience from the Michigan Legislature, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the private sector. She’s interned for Congressman Dave Trott and State Representative Ryan Berman. She also worked in the private sector, communicating between government and clients and navigating bureaucratic rules and regulations. Additionally, she advocates for greater communication and accountability from elected officials.
“I’m excited to join Michigan Rising Action, a team that promotes and advances conservative principles,” said Drabik. She continued, “I look forward to working in this new capacity to hold Gretchen Whitmer, Dana Nessel, and Jocelyn Benson accountable and advocate for greater transparency and responsiveness from Michigan’s government.”
