Tell Gov. Gretchen Whitmer that the government should not decide what is essential or non-essential but should focus on what activities are safe or unsafe.

Today in Michigan, you can:

✔️ Buy marijuana at a store
✔️ Buy a lottery ticket in a store
✔️ Buy alcohol and cigarettes in a store

But, you cannot:

❌ Buy gardening seeds and equipment in some stores
❌ Buy plants from a nursery
❌ Have a one-man lawn crew mow your lawn
❌ Go fishing on a motor boat alone

Michigan has many more cases of COVID19 than our neighboring states and our unemployment rate is headed toward the very top in the country. We support following federal health social distancing guidelines and believe safety of all Michiganders is paramount and believe a safe or unsafe designation is more appropriate than the current ad hoc approach being taken by state government.
