Governor Whitmer Defends Excessive Government Overreach Because of the Weather
Gov. Whitmer has started to receive fierce pushback from people in Michigan over her excessive government overreach.
On Wednesday, April 15 Whitmer continued her national television circuit by appearing on NBC’s Today show. When Whitmer was asked why she is banning the sale of gardening seeds in stores or allowing people to travel to homes they own, Whitmer rationalized her overreach by saying that it is snowing.
It seems Whitmer’s argument is that it’s all right to have the most excessive decrees in America, as characterized by the Wall Street Journal, because of the weather.
According to The Weather Channel, the forecast for Thursday, April 16 is 41 degrees and partly cloudy with highs in the 50s all next week – though it doesn’t look like a warm-up is expected to change Whitmer’s excessive orders anytime soon.
